The Rural Adventure farm is located down a small lane in Rural Ireland, among the drumlins and lakes of County Cavan in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.

Home to Marcus, Julie, and their three kids, there is nothing they love more than sharing an evening on their farm with guests from all around the world playing music and eating good food, as Marcus describes:

Initially, we started bringing a few of our multi-day tours to our organic farm. We quickly realized just how much our guests loved the whole experience, and as a result, our farm (and our home!) is now an essential feature of all our tours.

MUSIC, FOOD & IRISH CRAIC (FUN)

The farm experience is often the highlight of the trip for many guests as they get to enjoy an Irish sing-song and superb food for the full hospitality experience!

PLANT A TREE

Since 2019, Marcus and Julie have been allowing all groups from multi- day tours the chance to plant a tree on their farm; this enables you to leave a physical reminder of your visit to Ireland and helps you contribute to the sustainability of the Irish countryside and decarbonise your tour. An opportunity to lay down your own roots in Ireland and leave a part of your tour here always.

Finally, Marcus and Julie also showcase local artists' work in an old milking parlor, now used as a gallery space. This is to help local artists but also allow you to purchase authentic Irish art that will forever have a very special meaning for you in your home.

We love sharing our story and our home with our guests because we know how much they enjoy meeting our family, hearing the stories about how our farm started, and experiencing rural life in Ireland for themselves.“
